Fashion week Hot Spot : The heart truth dress collection fashion show

The heart truth red dress collection fashion show Go red for women
kicks off annually at this years New York Fashion week with a wide range of celebrity fashionista's. This event kicked off on the eve of National wear red day, and the opening speech was served by Star Jones who underwent open heart surgery in 2011. This is one of my favorite fashion week shows because it's one of the many shows that I feel produces real models, and a real cause. I love the concept of getting real women together of all shapes and sizes, and the energy in the room just lights up after that. Below are a few highlights from the show, and some of the beautiful celebrities that participated.

My hair review on Long Locks Virgin hair (Good & Bad)

Long Locks Virgin Hair Review
After my experience with my 2nd big purchase of Long locks virgin Brazilian body wave I just had to make a review on how bad this hair was to me. The first install I noticed the hair was course, and tangled quickly and I thought it was because I didn't seal my wefts or co-wash. But then the second install I did all the right steps I co-washed, sealed my wefts, and even added a cholesterol treatment so it could regain moisture. BUT it was even worse the second time around and I was forced to buy hair from another vendor by the name of Ming Lee. I'll put up a video soon to review that hair but from the looks, and feels of it it's quality hair so I'll definitely keep you guys updated!

These are pics from my journey with Long Locks Brazilian body wave

Welcome Back !

Hey fellow bloggers and readers!

This summer has been a long one for me I interned for two months at a popular boutique in my home town by the name of PNK Elephant! My experience was lots of fun, whirl winded, and eye opening. I learned the ins and outs of buying, visual merchandising, and how to deal with self conscious customers who wanted you to tell them they looked good in the popular dress that was selling that week lol. Interning helped me pin point my career objectives and even though I don't know what I want to do yet, I'm pretty sure I'm on the right track!

I also took a couple of vacations this year, and I must say I had  lots of fun. My first trip was New Orleans, Louisiana for the Essence festival. I had the most fun experience here, because it was totally out of my element. We had to take 2 flights to get their which totalled 8 hours, and when we got there it rained half of the time but the weather was still good. The convention center was like no other and they put it together very well, the amount of giveaways and free stuff was unbelievable and so welcoming. I got to see celebrities from Kevin Hart, Fantasia, TGT (Tank, Ginuwine, and Tyrese), The Braxtons, Revaugn (One of my favorite upcoming artists), Chante Moore, Mally Music, and many more. Also I had tickets to two nights of the concert which was held in the Mercedes Benz SUPER DOME. The first concert featured older artist and one in particular Charlie Wilson, which tore the stadium to pieces with his performance. The last night of the festival featured TGT, Janelle Monae, and BEYONCE. Even though Beyonce had to many outfit changes she still killed it and performed her very best. Next year is Essence 20th anniversary and I just might have to take that trip down there because that's how much of a good time I had!

Last but not least MIAMMMMMIIIIIIII!!!! I had so much fun in Miami even though somedays the drama with 8 girls would present itself I still had a good time. We went to clubs like Story, Mansion, and Cameo. we also dined at the finest eatery's, and sipped with the hottest artists out there. Some of the artists we saw were Young Jeezy, Nicki Minaj, and Wale. I think I'm pretty much done with Miami for now, I wanna visit somewhere else next summer try new things.

Overall my summer was AWESOMEEEEEEEEEE, now its back to these books and guess what I'll be graduating this year from COLLEGE. CLASS of 2014 here I come!
